Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Youssef AI. They are written to be read: if something is unclear, ask us before you buy.
1.Who we are
Youssef AI (“we”, “us”) is provided by [legal entity name], registered in [country of registration] under number [company registration number], with its registered office at [registered address]. You can reach us at [contact email].
2.The service and the paid beta
Youssef AI helps you turn a product into checked product facts, ad ideas, ad copy and finished ad images for Meta and TikTok. It is a tool for businesses: brands and sole traders selling products.
During the paid beta, access is by invitation, features may change, and we may pause the service to fix problems. We will tell you in advance about any change that affects credits you have already bought.
3.Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per login. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract for your business.
4.Credits
You pay for work in the app with credits, bought in prepaid packs. A credit is a prepaid, non-transferable licence to use the service. It is not money or electronic money, and it cannot be exchanged for cash except as set out in Credits and refunds.
- What each action costs, including extra rewrites, is listed on the pricing page. That rate card does not change for credits you already hold: only pack prices may change, for future purchases, with 30 days' notice.
- Credits stay valid while your account is active (any sign-in, purchase or use of credits). They lapse after 24 months without any activity, and we email you 30 days before.
- Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase, on every pack.
- Anything that fails on our side is refunded automatically. Every ad includes 2 free redos for any reason; after that you can mark it unusable and get its credit back if you haven't exported it.
5.Payments and tax
Card payments are handled by [payment provider], which sells the packs to you as merchant of record and issues your receipt. Your card statement may show [statement descriptor]. Card prices are shown in US dollars and include VAT where it applies; business buyers who give a valid VAT number may be charged the price without VAT.
If you pay by bank transfer, [legal entity name] sells the packs to you directly and issues the invoice, in [currency]. [who can pay by bank transfer, and the VAT that applies, to be confirmed]
6.Your approvals and the claims in your ads
You decide what your ads say. We show you the product facts we found in the sources you gave us and flag the ones we could not confirm. No ad is made until you approve its copy.
Where the app labels a fact “Verified”, “Found in your sources”, “You confirmed” or “Confirmed by you”, it means only that our system reported the fact in a source you gave us, or that you told us it is true. When our system reports a fact in a source, any numbers in the fact are matched against that source's text; other wording is not checked word for word. The label can still be wrong, so check the fact yourself. It is not a test, inspection or certification of your product, and we do not check that your sources are accurate.
You are responsible for:
- claims you add or edit yourself;
- facts you confirm, including when we warned you that we could not confirm them;
- making sure your ads, offers, prices and landing pages follow the law and the ad platforms' rules in every country where you advertise.
Our claim checks reduce risk, but we do not promise that Meta, TikTok or any authority will accept an ad. Our only commitment about ad platform rejections is the remedy described in Credits and refunds.
7.What you upload
You keep ownership of what you upload: product photos, supplier pages and documents, logos and notes. You allow us to use it only to provide the service to you, including by sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including supplier images and product photos, and that using it in ads does not infringe anyone else's rights.
8.The ads we deliver
Once paid for, you may use the ideas, copy and images we deliver for your business, including in paid advertising. [ownership of AI-generated outputs, to be confirmed by counsel for each market]
Similar products can lead to similar ideas or images, so we do not promise that outputs are unique to you. Check everything before you publish it.
9.AI-generated content
Ideas, copy and images are made with AI, guided by your brand rules and the facts you approved. AI can make mistakes, so review every ad before you publish it.
During the paid beta, images in the delivery pack we send you carry an AI-generated label in their file information. [labelling of images downloaded from the app, to be added]
Where Meta or TikTok ask for it, keep their AI labels switched on when you publish (Meta's “AI info” and TikTok's AI-generated content setting). The delivery pack includes a checklist for this.
10.Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse a request, remove an output or suspend an account that breaks it.
11.Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer where they apply.
Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to [the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim], and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, ad spend, or restrictions placed on your ad accounts.
12.Closing your account, suspension and disputes
- You can close your account at any time. Unused credits bought in the last 14 days can be refunded as set out in Credits and refunds. [what happens to other unused credits when an account is closed, to be decided]
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to protect other users or the service.
- If a payment is disputed with your bank, we may freeze spending on the account until the dispute is resolved.
13.Changes to these terms
We will email you at least 30 days before an important change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can close your account before the change applies.
14.Governing law
These terms are governed by [governing law], and disputes go to [competent courts]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
15.Contact
